Matryoshka does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics services, and no advertising.
Everything you do in the app is stored only on your device:
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it, and we have no server that receives it. Deleting the app deletes all of it permanently.
If you subscribe to Matryoshka Plus, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, payment details, or Apple Account. The app asks Apple which plan, if any, is active and until when — and nothing else. That answer is used on your device to unlock Plus and is never sent to us.
Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Russian words and phrases are played from audio recordings that ship inside the app. If a recording is missing, the speech synthesiser built into iOS is used instead. Both work entirely on your device; nothing you hear or type is sent anywhere.
Matryoshka is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
